Lee Harrington and Family Testimonial

"We have had At Home Senior Care taking care of our 103 year old Uncle for four years. They have taken excellent care of him seven days a week for four or five hours. If there are any problems they are there to help us immediately. The staff have a very professional and caring way with our Uncle. We would recommend them if you are in need of care for your loved one. Sincerely, Lee Harrington and Family"

Types of Care We Offer

Companionship: As we age, connections within the community begin to wane, and often feelings of loneliness enter. At Home Senior Care seeks to counterbalance these negative influences on seniors by offering positive encouragement to exercise, play games and cards, to converse and reminisce. Caregivers can assist with diet, meal preparation, correspondence, reading, and other forms of entertainment. They also can provide reminders regarding medication, appointments, and physical therapy.

Respite: Providing care for loved ones is a rewarding, yet demanding responsibility for family caregivers. At Home Senior Care encourages family caregivers to avoid many of the emotional and physical tolls that come with tending to loved ones by offering client coverage so that family members can take a much-needed break. Assistance can cover all areas of concern but is especially helpful with Alzheimer's and dementia patients.

Personal Care: Seniors can regain their sense of independence when supported with their care needs within their home. At Home Senior Care services aid with bathing, dressing, mouth care, grooming, and help with attending to incontinence issues.

Home Helper: Independent seniors not in need of personal care support can also benefit from At Home Senior Care services. Home Helpers can assist with errands, laundry, shopping, pet care, light housekeeping and a myriad of similar day to day tasks to help make each client's life a little easier.

Care Management: Our care managers are registered nurses, with specialized training in geriatrics, who identify client’s needs, and find ways to meet them by developing a short- or long- term care plan. A Care Manager acts as a professional partner to your family and is an especially helpful resource when families live far apart or have full-time lives. An initial evaluation is conducted with the family to identify supportive services and resources for each client. Oversight of care includes assistance communicating and coordinating doctor’s appointments, coordination of medical needs, and arranging and managing care from outside providers such as visiting nurses and rehab settings. Our care managers have years of experience sorting through medical conditions & changes as well as collaborating with various healthcare providers to best support their clients’ personal goals.
